Anyone who has ever supervised a child on a bike will know that providing bike safety for kids can be a nerve wracking experience. Bike Stoppa™ allows you to be able to stop your child’s bike remotely and safely.
In order to play our videos you must have flash player version 8 or higher installed on your computer.
- 30 metre range - within this distance the stop button stops the bike. In addition, if the bicycle goes outside this range then the brake will activate automatically to stop the bike.
- Digital signal - this allows the device to function with obstructions in the way such as trees or parked cars, and if for any reason this signal is broken then the brake will activate and stop the bike.
- Battery power indicator and fail safe design - if the batteries run out in either the main unit or in the key fob which you use to activate the Bike Stoppa™ remote control brake, the Bike Stoppa™ will activate automatically and stop the bike. A warning that the battery is low will be displayed.
- Unique signals - if two children are riding bikes with Bike Stoppa™ fitted, a parent activating the system to stop a child in danger will affect only that child's progress. In other words, each system works independent of other systems, regardless of how close they are.
- Parental re-set function - this allows the brake to be re-set only by pressing the key fob button. In other words, only the parent and not the child is able to re-set the brake.
